15 Reasons I No Longer Believe in Eternal Damnation

The historic fear of “hell” is increasingly going to hell.
In it’s place is a growing faith in a loving Creator who invites all into an intimate relationship that will last for eternity.
The best single resource I have found which helped me to make a fundamental paradigm shift away from the “sinners must be punished” worldview is a one-hour audio mp3 from the Center of Contemplation and Action Founder Father Richard Rohr entitled “HELL NO!”
At the end of this summary I will link to a few other great resources, but let’s begin with my fifteen key takeaways from Rohr’s teaching:
1) The reason the topic of hell is important is that until we clear away the notion that the character of reality, God and the universe is a threatening, hostile and violent place most people will not accept or seek their Creator as good, loving and safe.
